Free vintage floral printable that you can print at home. I’ll show you my source for free art for your home as well
I found a gold mine and it’s FREE!! Free, free, free!! Can you tell how happy I am?!?! Maybe I shouldn’t tell you my secret so I can get you guys coming back for more (insert evil laugh). But I won’t hold out on you. The one thing I’ve always struggled with when decorating my home is finding art that I love. I’ve talked about this before if you are loyal reader (hi mom!).
I also have attachment issues with most of my home decor and nothing stays in one place for too long. Purchasing expensive art when I am not 100% in love with it makes no sense at all. I first dabbled with Engineered Prints from Staples this past summer and I am officially hooked. My local Staples knows me by name now when I walk in to get my print. I made prints using some of my own pictures I took from my iPhone, I’ve made a few large script printables and had them printed at Staples, I’ve printed out art from Etsy and Jenny’s Print Shop from there and now this print. Nothing cost me more than $11 to have printed.

So that gold mine I found-it’s called Google. Ha! Gotcha. Kidding (well sort of). There is free art all over the internet and most can be downloaded with no restrictions (you know, like copyright laws). And then one beautiful day I found the New York Public Library digital downloads (Insert dancing emoji lady).
So much good art you can download for FREE and most without restrictions. Download it, print it out at home and throw it in a frame. Can it get any easier??
No, it can’t if you are looking for an answer.
But if you need larger prints than what your printer can handle-enter Staples and maybe Photoshop. See, now you still me for my Photoshopping resizing abilities. Actually you can probably do this without Photoshop but don’t tell anyone.
Want my extra large (24×36) print? Join my email list and get access to all of my free printables. And do not worry, there is a good chance you will never get an email from me if I am being honest. And did I mention it is FREE??
Or just read my post on how to make your own printables and you can do this yourself.

Once you download the print head over to Staples. Click “Design Now” button and then “Buy Now” on Color Blueprints. Click “Add File” and upload the print you just saved. Name your job and make sure there is only 1 page on your job. Click where it says “Media” and change the size of your print to 24×36 and make sure it is a portrait. Once finished add your print to your cart and pick up your print at your local Staples.
My next secret (see aren’t you glad you read this post?) is that Michael’s has some nice large frames for a really good price if you find a sale. I purchased this one for $16 on sale. Amazon also has some nice frames. Throw your print in your frame and you are done!
I am so glad I found this little gem of a website. I have so many other ideas (gallery walls) and places I want to put some vintage art. And do not fret I will use my Photoshopping magic powers and resize them for you. And it’s FREE..oh, I said that already??
(**If you are dying to have this print in a smaller size just shoot me a message and I can resize it for you)

I LOVE the vintage illustrations that are available from the NYPL and Biodiversity. I share a lot of them on The Birch Cottage blog and my readers love them, too. This one is really pretty! I also love the engineering prints at Staples. I recently had some vintage patents printed at 24×36 for our son’s bedroom. Thanks for sharing this lovely illustration!
