Two of my favorite Christmas Tree Hacks!
I’m going to make this blog post short and sweet and if you follow me on Instagram, well this is nothing new for you!
Hack# 1: Flip your tree collar upside down
This will be the easiest hack you will ever do.
That’s it-that is the hack.
But keep reading and you’ll see where I am going with this.
Hack # 2: Add Bed Risers If You Want To Add Height To Your Tree
This part is completely optional and only if you want to add height to your tree.
A few years ago I was gifted a beautiful tree by King of Christmas. It is their King Prince flocked tree. But at the time, I wasn’t thinking properly and picked a 6 foot tree
It always felt so small in my house with taller ceilings.
I actually had this tree listed on FB marketplace to sell. Shame on me, I know.
And then I thought I’d give it a second chance and give it a little boost to add some height to it.
(I wish I could give myself a little boost in height too)
I wasn’t interested in building anything with wood or trying to prop it up on magazines or books. So I used bed risers instead.
If you do this, just know that most standard tree collars are going to be too small to fit around the bed risers.
I purchased this tree collar in the 33″ size and it works perfectly and I love the color of the rattan on this one.
After you get your tree in place, you just need a whole bunch of blankets to hide the evidence
I used old blankets in the bottom and then this incredibly soft and fluffy one on the top.
And there you go.
My tree is a bit taller and it looks like I put it in a cute large basket.
