A few years ago I wrote a blog post about the best things to buy at IKEA and you guys loved that post.
Now, I love IKEA as much as the next person but sometimes getting to IKEA is hard. Not to mention, you really do have to invest a few hours of your day to walk through that maze.
For the past few years, Walmart has pleasantly been surprising me. I get more for my home at Walmart than I ever thought I would.
I do think that their online selection is better than what they offer in store. However, I still have good luck with finding stuff in store.
I just recently took another trip to Walmart and wandered the aisles and found some cute new stuff.
Outdoor Furniture at Walmart
I had to start this list off with Walmart’s infamous and viral outdoor patio set and depending on when you are reading this, it might be of interest to you.
The River Oaks Patio set has been a fan favorite for years now and always sells out quickly.
I do own this patio set and I cannot tell you how much I love it.
It’s comfortable, durable and affordable. I’m about to write a blog post just about this set because I love it so much
(I’ll update this picture soon too. We are in the process of getting all of our outdoor furniture out and cleaned up for the season)

Walmart does have a new patio set out that is very similar to the River Oaks set and it is also so comfortable and is so pretty.
Both patio sets are amazing and you cannot go wrong with either.
Outdoor Planters at Walmart
I promise to stop talking about Walmart’s outdoor section but I have to mention their planters before I move on.
Most, if not all, of my planters are from Walmart.
I find myself picking up a new planter everytime I go to Walmart.

Pillows at Walmart
Walmart’s pillow section gets my everytime.
If the pillow has an insert, I will remove the poly insert and add a down insert just to make the pillow look a bit more “designer”.

Bedding at Walmart
A few years ago I purchased the nicest comforter set for my daughter for her room at Walmart and I was sold.
Their sheets, duvets, quilts and comforters are all so amazing for the price.

Their bedding blankets (and throw blankets) are some of the nicest I have seen as well.
Curtain Rods at Walmart
I do have a soft spot in my heart for my favorite curtain rods from Amazon BUT if I am in a hurry I’ll run to Walmart to grab these rods.
Rugs at Walmart (Indoor and Outdoor)
This is one of my favorite aisles to walk down in Walmart.
I am so surprised by the rugs at Walmart and in store too.
I usually can only find my rugs from Walmart online but the other day when I was walking around Walmart I stumbled on the softest rugs from Walmart I have ever felt.
And this one is even washable.
I didn’t see this rug in store but it is made from the same material as the extra soft rug I did touch in store. This one comes in larger sizes but I do not think it washable.
Speaking of washable, I just purchased this runner for my kitchen thanks to this crazy puppy of ours.

And I love the rugs from the Dave and Jenny Mars collection. Especially this one. It’s gorgeous.

Depending on what season it is, don’t forget to check out their outdoor rug section. They always have a great selection.
Lighting at Walmart
This section gets overlooked sometimes I think. There are hidden gems in this aisle.
Like this guy? How cute is it? Zoom in and you’ll see it on the bottom shelf. I think I’ve seen a similar lamp at Pottery Barn for triple the cost.
And look at all of those lamp shades. Such an easy way to update any lamp in your home.

Faux florals and vases at Walmart
Another aisle that I think gets overlooked is the faux floral and vase section at Walmart.

Furniture at Walmart
I usually do not find the best selection of furniture in store at Walmart. I usually suggest looking online for their furniture but I stumbled upon this viral chair in my local store.
And if we want to talk about viral chairs, this one is also a fan favorite.

More hidden gems down this aisle. I love Walmart’s linens. So many affordable options

Now this is my favorite aisle at Walmart. I LOVE going to Walmart at the very beginning of every season.
Spring and Chirstmas are my favorite times to go to Walmart.
It’s currently spring and I just cannot get enough of their spring and outdoor decor.
