I never thought I’d be writing a post about ready to ship sofas and sectionals but here we are. I know some of you are struggling to find sofas that can be delivered before year 3000 so I hope this post helps.

You guys know I love IKEA and World Market and that the majority of my furniture comes from both stores. That includes my couches..

I have had the EKTORP sofa for years and I did a whole blog post on the EKTORP. The EKTORP is sort of being discontinued and being replaced with the Uppland Sofa. I did a whole blog post on the Uppland couch too and how it differs from the Ektorp.

If you are looking for affordable sofas, IKEA is definitely an option. They have a good selection of sofas and most are in stock or available for pick up.

Don’t be afraid to have the couches shipped to you. If you don’t have an IKEA near you (or a truck) it is worth paying for shipping in my honest opinion. We did that for our EKTORP sofas years ago and it was worth every penny.

They deliver the couch to any room in your house so all you have to do is put it together. Their couches are the easiest thing to put together too. It took me 10 minutes.

I know IKEA is not everyone’s cup of tea so I won’t go into great detail about their couches but just know it is an option. I do love my EKTORP sofa though

Emmett Sectional From World Market

A few years ago, I purchased the Emmett Sectional from World Market and I have had quite a few people ask how it is holding up. So….no better time than the present. Let’s do a quick review of the Emmett Sectional while we are here.

The Emmett sectional is still in stock at World Market and can be shipped. When I purchased the Emmett I lucked out and found one in store so I did not have to deal with shipping.

I did, however, have to drive to and from my local World Market with my mini van three times to get the whole sectional home.

Oh what I do for my decor.

I also got the sectional on sale. I just could not pass it up.

You can’t beat the price for this sectional. When I was on the sectional hunt, it was either this sectional or the Radley from Macy’s (link) and this couch was so much more affordable.

I do like that it is a modular sofa so you can piece it anyway you want and make the dimensions work for you. With that being said, the sections do not lock together. The couch does move around some but I purchased these furniture grippers and they have been a huge help.

I love the color of the couch. It’s a soft warm gray color and really does a good job at hiding dirt. I have three kids and a dog and this couch has held up pretty well. The seat cushions are not removable so you can’t flip them or remove the covers which can be a negative for this couch.

(The back cushions can be removed and the covers can come off of those)

The cushions are firm but are slowly getting a tad bit softer. You definitely do not sink into this couch.

It is a really deep sectional. The extra back cushions are a must especially if you are a short little Italian like I am. Without the extra cushions, my feet go nowhere near the floor.

I have a love/hate relationship with the back cushions though. My kids are constantly throwing the extra cushions on the floor. It gets old very quickly. I’ve thought about just removing the cushions but then again, I do like having my feet touch the floor sometimes when I am sitting on the couch (writing blog posts as thrilling as this one).

The extra cushions do lose their shape after a while. I just have to unzip the cover and give the cushions some fluffing so it does not bother me too much.

It really is a great sectional all around. Is is the most amazing sectional I have ever sat on? No. Is it a great sectional for the price? Heck to the yes.

I have always loved World Market and wrote a whole post about it. I always start there when looking for furniture.

This couch is such a popular one that has great reviews and I love that it comes in navy now too.

This couch is new to World Market so there are no reviews yet but I have a feeling this couch will be a good one. And I am basing that only on the fact that I love everything from World Market

Quick Ship Couches/Sectionals at Macy’s

As I mentioned before, the Radley was high on my list of sectionals. I actually did purchase it online and then called the next day to cancel the order once I found my Emmett Sectional.

The Radley sectional does have a cult following but it’s hit or miss with delivery. Some colors are in stock and some are custom and can’t be shipped for awhile. Regardless, it is a pretty sectional

This sectional is also great and looks to be in stock for shipping.

Macy’s has a few couches ready to ship too.

I will have to say, I have never purchased a sofa from Amazon before but if you are believer in online reviews then I picked out a few for you with good reviews and that can be shipped quickly.

Quick Ship Sofas from Lamps Plus

I recently stumbled upon this sofa from Lamps Plus (of all places) and have decided it needs to go somewhere in my house. I love the single bench design, the slipcover, the dimensions, the price…just everything about it really.

This is also a great slipcovered sofa that can ship quickly and the price is great.

I have a love hate relationship with modular sofas. I do love them because you can customize them as you please and design any dimension sofa or sectional you need for your space.

I am not a fan of them only because there is no locking system and the pieces can move around. As I said with my World Market sectional, furniture grippers do help.

This sofa/sectional combo looks so comfy that maybe I can look past the fact that the pieces can move around. It comes in white and gray and looks very similar to a more expensive I have seen.

Quick Ship Sofas from Wayfair

My favorite find so far is the new sofa I just purchased for our front family room. I kind of stumbled upon it and couldn’t say no to it. It was everything I was looking for in a sofa….single bench cushion and performance fabric were the top two nonnegotiable items on my list.

The fact that this sofa also came in a darker blue/gray color was a plus and the fact that it was affordable and could be shipped to me in a hot second was a double Plus with a capital P.

I literally just purchased this sofa so I will update once it gets delivered but isn’t she pretty?

Another great sofa I stumbled upon that will ship quickly is this guy. Again, I love the single bench design. (You know what it’s like to be sitting on the crack of two seat cushions. Somehow I always find myself on the crack.)

If you want something a tad bit fancier this sofa comes in velvet and multiple colors. I almost went with the green velvet. It’s so pretty.
