This post will be short and sweet! I’ve seen all over blog land this thing called “free printables”. I am not sure why I never really did this sooner since the word FREE is in the title. So I just recently gave it a go. I found these cute hand drawn printables from Joanna’s blog
You can download the prints here
I printed mine out on regular boring printer paper. There are some free printables you can download and get printed at Staples for just a few dollars too. This was an experiment for me so I went cheap and easy.
I knew I wanted to frame these bad boys in a simple and gold frame. I saw these cute frames at Target but wasn’t interested in spending $20/frame especially since I had 5 prints. So naturally my next option was to go to Walmart. I found these at Walmart, you can buy them individually in store. I think mine were less than $3. I love that these frames are matted too. And since I wanted my frames to be gold I picked up my favorite spray paint
It’s love at first sight, for real. This spray paint will be my best friend for a few years to come I think. Spray painting can be tricky. I notice doing quick burst gets the best coverage and less drip marks. And a lesson learned the hard way, do not spray paint on a windy day or spray your piece on a garbage bag in the grass unless you like the grassy look on your frames. This is how I roll when I spray paint
Once your paint dries, assemble your frames and voila
Easy peesey lemon squeezy…
